The Golden Compass

What's the basic story line?

Rira is a student in Jordan University because her uncle is a professor in Jordan University. Bu8t she knows that her Asrial uncle was caught by polar bears. So Rira tried to escape him from them so she got a golden compass from the University president . During she go to the North Pole, she meet a bear named Ieoreck Burinison. So Ieoreck help Rira and become the king of bears. During the war between Ms. Colter and Asrial, she know that they are her father and mother. But she me4t Will Perrie which has a sword that can cut everything. So they do adventure together. After they can't meet anymore because they both come from different world.

Are the characters believable?

Yes. Because during the movie, we can see parents love for their children. Also we can see friendships between Rira and Will. Rira is a man of action. She loves doing adventure and fighting,. But Will is  very careful person. He always tried to make a decision when has a problem. Also he never do fight first. He always think carefully before he doing something.

On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being best) , how would you rate this book?

I would rate this book a 7. When we read the first part, it is hard to understand about dust and daemons. But we can get lots of values. Such as parents' love, adventures, happiness, and sadness. If we read this, our mind and fixed idea will be changed also we can learn challenge somethings.

Narrative essay

     Learning something new can be a great experience. One of the great thing was learn a computer qualification share. I always played game by computer, so I want to challenge new thing. Also when I achieve something I feel satisfaction therefore I want to try. As well as I heard that computer qualification share can help us when we find an employment. After I finish the course, I realize that his can make me a meticulous man.

     Making new friends and adapt in new environment are hard for us because we are young and also we don't experience many things. When I was in 1st grade, I learned computer after school. It has a special class for students. I was learned for 2 weeks and I level up many steps because my typing was fast than others. So I have to learn with 6th graders. I feel scary because I was small and I loose my self-confidence.

     Everyone has a crisis during they live. I think that was my strongest crisis during 13 years. So I got a computer qualification share which called '문서실무사'. This was hard because I was so young to understand the meaning of Internet words. Also I was the youngest person in that class. But when I saw the computer qualification share, my feeling was fantastic.

     Now I'm learning at technical academy. And I'm learning about '정보처리사' qualification share. When we try and try hard, I think the result can be good. Also if we success a goal, we can feel happiness and satisfaction. With these situation, I learn that what is achieve and self-confidence. I always appreciate that I am learning.     LIG

Traveling Je Ju Island!!

      I was never ride on airplane before. So my dream was riding an airplane and look down the ocean and land. Finally, when I was in 5th grade, we go to Jeju Island on my winter vacation. It was my first trip by ride an airplane so I was very exiciting and feel fantastic for me. Because it was a first time that I ride an airplane and also it was a first time that we go to a family trip.

      Until now, we don't go family trip because we are all busy for studying and work so we can't got a time for doing a trip. When I got on a plane and the plane starts, it was really good. It feels like a huge roller coster and when it flies it shaked a lot but it was good that I can see the form of Seoul city.

      And when I arrive I was very excited because in Jeju airport it has a many palm trees that we can't see in Korea. When I traveled Jeju Island I see many waterfalls, mountains, natures, and animals such as cow, sheep, and horse. Sheep was the cutest animal when I traveled Jeju Island. And in their it has many convenient facilities such as restaurants, a racecourse that we can learn how to ride a horse, swimming pool, and a singing room. My sister and me played a lot after we travel the place about the schedule.

     When the time goes by and become a last day, I was very sad to go home. Because I have to come back to a daily life like study, homework, and go academy. These things make me really sad. But I realize the true sense about this trip. Which is a first trip of doing a family trip. I really satisfied about this conclusion. Thanks.
